Lafayette Crime Stoppers needs your help with any information that can identify the individuals wanted for theft.

 

On April 11th at approximately 10:00pm two suspects were involved in a theft that occurred at a local business in Carencro.  Video surveillance captured the suspects as they exited the store.  The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a grey colored vehicle, possibly a Nissan.

MISSING PERSON

Lafayette Police Department needs your help with locating a missing person.

 

Investigators with Lafayette Police Department is seeking information in the disappearance of Kristy Dominque aka Kristy Gibson. Kristy Dominque was last seen in December 0f 2020, in Lafayette, La.

 

Dominque is described as a white female, 30 years of age, 5'2" in height and weighing 120 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. It is believed that foul play may have occurred.

AGG BURGLARY/ATTEMPTED FIRST DEGREE MURDER

Lafayette Crime Stoppers needs your help with any information that can identify the suspect wanted for Aggravated Burglary/Attempted First Degree Murder.  

 

On January 27, 2022, at approximately 11:20 am, an armed burglar accessed an unlocked window and entered an unoccupied home located in the 300 block of Saucier Parkway in the city of Lafayette, La.  The victim returned home where he encountered the armed suspect hiding in a bedroom. 

 

The suspect fired multiple shots at the victim before jumping through a window which resulted in the suspect being injured.

SIMPLE BURGLARY OF A RESIDENCE

On January 19, 2022 at approximately 7:30pm, the suspect forced entry into a residence in the 1500 Block of Carmel Dr. in Lafayette, LA.  The suspect utilized what appears to be a hunting style fixed blade knife to gain entry through the back door of the residence. The suspect stole headphones, an Xbox One gaming console, an Apple iPhone 6s Plus, and two hard drives (4TB and 14TB).

February 11, 2022

Lafayette Crime Stoppers needs your help with any information that can identify the suspect wanted for a theft.  

 

The thefts occurred on three different dates:  11/19/21, 12/12/21, & 12/26/21 at various times.  The unknown male suspect entered the Target located at 3225 Louisiana Avenue on the above-mentioned dates, selected a JBL Bluetooth speaker and concealed it.  The suspect then exited the store without paying for the item. The suspect was captured on the store’s video surveillance as he exited the store.

Simple Burglary of a Business

Simple Burglary
January 21, 2022

Lafayette Crime Stoppers needs your help with any information that can identify the suspects wanted for Simple Burglary.  

 

The burglary occurred on or about January 17, 2022 in Lafayette. The unknown suspect entered the backyard by cutting the rear fence of the victim’s yard and took several items out of a locked shed.  Items taken out of the victim’s shed were three weed eaters (2 red Troybilt & orange Echo), two 5,000-watt generators (yellow & black Pulsar and red & black Pepboys generator), two lawn mowers (red & black Troybilt), one pressure washer (red Echo), one leaf blower (red & black Troybilt), one red 5 gallon gas can and an orange Stihl chainsaw.

THEFT
November 26, 2021

Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Broussard Police Department needs your help with any information that can identify the suspects wanted for theft.  

 

Video surveillance captured two suspects responsible for a theft that occurred at Stine’s, located at 6501 Ambassador Caffery Parkway. The suspects were observed on two separate occasions removing items from within the business and bypassing all points of sale.  The suspects entered into a white Ford Explorer bearing a TX Temp. Tag  30979S1 in rear window.  The Ford Explorer was last seen travelling westbound on Ambassador Caffery Parkway from Highway 89 toward Lafayette. It is noted that this temporary tag has also been observed on a silver Ford Ranger in recent weeks.

Unauthorized Use of An Access Card

The theft of the victim’s wallet occurred on or about October 8th in Carencro.  Video surveillance at Walgreens located at 2700 Johnston captured the suspect as he made a purchase.  The suspect was driving a dark colored Honda Odyssey and fled in an unknown direction travel.

ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE

On September 9th at approximately 9:30 am, Lafayette Police responded to the 500 block of Orchid Dr. in reference to multiple shots fired. Witnesses say the driver of this white Dodge Ram truck, exited the vehicle and began shooting a handgun at one victim who was seated inside a vehicle and into a residence where at least one occupant was inside. The driver and the passenger then fled the area prior to officer’s arrival.

AGG CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

On July 5th at approximately 1:00 am, surveillance video captured two males walking near the 400 block of E. Vermilion Street. The male in the picture was seen discharging a weapon then both males ran toward the back of a building. A bullet entered a victim’s residence through a glass window and penetrated a wall within.

VEHICLE BURGLARIES

FORGERY
May 21, 2021

Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Lafayette Police Department need your help identifying a suspect responsible for Forgery.

 

The male pictured stole the identity of a victim, obtained account information, and forged numerous counterfeit checks from the victim’s bank account beginning in March of 2021. He cashed those checks at several businesses throughout Lafayette. He was seen occupying a white Volkswagen.

THEFT
May 07, 2021

 

Lafayette Crime Stoppers needs your help with any information that can identify the suspect on a recent theft.

 

On April 22, 2021 the suspect drove to a residence in the 3800 Block of Gloria Switch Road.  The suspect knocked on the door and when no one answered the suspect steals a children’s black and green motorized bike.  Surveillance video captures the suspect as he places the bike inside of his vehicle, a white 4-door Chevrolet pickup truck.  The suspect left the residence headed Eastbound on West Gloria Switch.  The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black t-shirt, dark colored shorts and brown cowboy boots.  The suspect appears to have a mustache or goatee and is balding on the top of his head.

HOMICIDE
April 23, 2021

 

Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Lafayette Police Department need your help identifying a suspect responsible for a Homicide.

 

On January 14th at approximately 9:15 am, Lafayette Police responded to the intersection of Ninth St. at Surrey St. in reference to shots fired. It was learned that a victim, who was shot multiple times, was transported by a friend to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after. The suspect was captured on nearby surveillance video fleeing the scene on foot heading west on Surrey Street.

  

The victim, 25-year-old Derrick Williams Junior. His family deserves justice for this senseless act of violence. If you have any information about this crime or know the identity of the suspect involved, Say it here!



Burglary
April 16, 2021

Lafayette Crime Stoppers and the Lafayette Police Department need your help identifying a suspect responsible for a Burglary from a local business.

 

On March 9th at approximately 12:35 am, Lafayette Police were dispatched to a local business in the 2800 block of NE Evangeline Thruway. In reference to a burglary alarm activation.

 

Video surveillance captured four suspects enter the property from the rear by jumping the fence. The suspects utilized hammers and crowbars to gain entry into the business, but once the alarm sounded all suspects fled on foot.

On March 17, 2021 the suspect arrived in the 100 block of Red Robin Trail in Lafayette.  The front door surveillance camera captured the suspect as he approached and collected the packages that were left at the front door of the residence.  The suspect is seen placing the packages inside of his vehicle and drives off in an unknown direction of travel.  The suspect is described as a black male wearing a green polo-style shirt, black pants, and white shoes with accents of green and black.  The suspect vehicle is a white newer model sedan.

THEFT FROM A LOCAL BUSINESS

THE LAFAYETTE POLICE DEPARTMENT NEEDS YOUR HELP IDENTIFYING A SUSPECT RESPONSIBLE FOR A THEFT FROM A LOCAL BUSINESS.  
 
ON MARCH 9TH AT APPROXIMATELY 4:45 P.M., A MALE ENTERED A LOCAL BUSINESS IN THE 3200 BLOCK OF LOUISIANA AVENUE.  WHEN HE SAW THAT ALL EMPLOYEES WERE DISTRACTED, HE CUT RETENTION CORDS REMOVING SEVERAL APPLE WATCHES VALUED AT $1,400.00.  HE THEN FLED ON FOOT WITH ALL THE ITEMS.

Simple Criminal Damage to Property
May 29, 2020

Lafayette Crime Stoppers needs your help with information on a criminal damage to property. On May 9, 2020, the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office and Broussard Police Department received reports of construction equipment being vandalized on South Bernard Road near the intersections of West Pinhook Road and Albertsons Parkway. At both locations, multiple construction vehicles sustained damage to the windows, appearing to have been shot with a BB gun. Near West Pinhook Road, batteries were stolen from two vehicles. The value of the damage is estimated to be over $4,000.00.
